Blue Science online course
Blue Science is a highly interactive and interdisciplinary online course in English developed at the TU Berlin and open to participants worldwide. The course aims to discuss the role of science in addressing the world’s grand challenges, and how the perspectives and skills of different fields can be combined in collaborations that transcend disciplinary, cultural and communicative boundaries.
What to expect
We will discuss the roles of science for society, explore our own disciplinary and personal perspectives and get in touch with transdisciplinary methods and approaches.
Teaching style
The course is designed to be highly interactive, avoiding lecture-style teaching. You will spend most of the time discussing and collaborating with other participants. Be prepared to turn on both camera and microphone!
Timings
Weekly synchronous online course meetings using Zoom online video software (Wednesdays, 12:00 - 16:00 Berlin time / GMT+2 / GMT+1, 13 meetings in total). - 6 ECTS graded courses for TU Berlin students.

There will be a short *Tasting* session Wednesday, 16th October; the first full length course session will be Wednesday, 23th October, 12h Berlin time – a.schaefer at tu-berlin.de
